Back in late 1994 through 1997, I went numerous time to Houston Street with Carlos Daniel Sola and others to see Jojo Mayer perform with Screaming Headless Torsos, Nerve, and other all-night rave type settings at underground clubs around the city. At that time I was just starting to hear about this genre called Drum n Bass. So Carlos and I started a campaign to get Jojo to do a master class or clinic at Drummers Collective. Well, it never happened, UNTILLLLL NOWWWWW!!!! :-) 18-20 years later I finally got him in the building and we currently have a packed house for his clinic!! Big thanks to Sabian, Sonor, Evans, and Vic Firth and Tony Maggiolino to help me get him here!! I can finally check this one off my list! LIVIN THE DREAM
