Back in the big smoke after 5 amazing days down at the magical Lake Tyers Beach for the inaugural Groundswell Music Festival. Words arent enough to describe just how unbelievably rad this event was, truly the best crew of people Ive had the great fortune to work with and I really need to give a shout out to them all. To the Four Mates from Lakes - Kev, Sean, Mick and Matty - and to the most talented Producer I know, Lyndy Moore was such a pleasure to be able to be part of taking your dream to reality. And what a bloody ripper it was. The love and respect that the town has for you guys and the Waterwheel Beach Tavern staff was evidenced by just how many amazing people volunteered to be part of the Groundswell family. We had some challenges, but the whole team rallied to deliver above and beyond, No doubt this will be the first of many more Groundswell Festivals to come . Thank you to all the awesome LTB locals who made me feel so at home, and who worked their guts out over the course of the event, especially Melsy, Peggy & the artist compoud build crew, Frog and Matty Whelan. Nothing was ever too much trouble - bless you all. Out little Production Crew was simply the best - Lyndy, Sarah, Clive Rodell, Bonnie & Leah Hallis White - what a ducking pleasure. And Scott Kingman, youre a true gentleman and such an awesome partner for the beautiful L.
