Back to mundane reality. Unpacked stuff. Spread the wet newspaper allover the backs of chairs to dry. The carrier puts it in a plastic bag, which gets holes when thrown on the driveway. Took a short nap and went to yoga. Discovered the dishwasher and the bathroom sink were both clogged. Dumped baking soda and vinegar in the sink, followed by boiling water. Fun and fizzy, but still very slow, so will have to take off the trap. Later. Removed the "self-cleaning" filter from the dishwasher and pried off the screen under that and scrapped off the brown gunk. Ran it with some vinegar and reassembled. It seems to be good now. Batting 0.50 on plumbing.
