Back to normal today with wild models, a vicious incrimination by - TopicsExpress

Back to normal today with wild models, a vicious incrimination by a loon, the loss of a friend (and a 44oz soft drink), sudden changes in schedules and other general BS> No wonder I love revisiting the last 50 years. :) However, the 80s, it was the Best of times, it was the worse of times. Ill start with the Best. The 80s saw a few new female friends (yes, I was shy in my youth as well as skinny, awkward and a nerd) in my life. They helped me get past Patty moving and yet another became my wife, that helped me achieve my family goals, Jackie in 84 and Thomas in 85. The joys of my life. Ive always been a kid person. After the divorce there were a few more women that made sure I moved on from the last. (y) My business flourished but, Im gonna keep this thread to just personal. I partied a lot in the 80s so, my memory of the really good times, in particular, are somewhat foggy. ;) I do remember Cozumel, the Yucatan & Florida were all, very sunny. I also remember a lot of Great friends and ever memorable family moments. Oh yeah, the TOY TIGER RULES !!! Then there was the worse.None surpassed the lose of my Mother, Lela Jane, in 84. Devastating to this day. She was my rock. I was with her in those last moments. She is with Jesus and The Great Spirit. I can only imagine the benefits not only my immediate family would have enjoyed but, especially my daughter and son. She was the epitome of what a Mother should be. My Mom was everybodys favorite. A hard working Saint. She smoked (unfortunately) but, only started having a glass of wine or an occasional Tequila Sunrise, when out to dinner, after l started college. She was an accomplished artist (painting). She excelled at crafts and garment making (dresses, sports coats, etc.) She was part Irish and part Cherokee so, if you did wrong, you knew it but, a moment later her bright, loving smile removed the pain of having been scolded..I cannot help but shed a tear still. But, like Moms smile, the arrival of Jacqueline Nicole, just a few months later helped to distract us all from some of the dulling sorrow we all suffered from losing Mom. (BTW, Jackie turns 30 this Saturday August 2 !!!!
