Back when I started shaping, thanks heaps to Ronnie Wade, I had a model called a Crusader. It was pretty crude with an interesting fin box combination designed to help the board surf shorter, but time were a changin. So now 46 years later and with a bit more experience under my belt I have shaped a board that I think is what I was trying to achieve way back then. The new Crusader. A 72 x 21 single fin pintail. Single into double concave spiral vee bottom. High low rails and flicked nose tip for hollower waves. Been back on single fins for a few years now and love the glide. This one is designed to ride a little further forward. Want one?
