Back when President Bush invaded Iraq, I disagreed. I thought we should send out troops to our Southern Border and spend the money and troop efforts on securing our own country rather than trying to bring together 3 warring tribes share common borders. Shiites, Sunnis, and Kurds ( correct me if Im wrong). The United States was footing the bill for years to enforce a no-fly zone to prevent Saddam Hussein from committing genocide on his own people in the south and in the north. Who in their right mind would have thought we could establish a democracy among three warring tribes -- we cant even get our countries two political parties to agree upon much of anything. Back then, we knew that several of the Hi-Jackers entered our country illegally through Mexicos border -- posing as day-visitors. I wonder how many have entered since September 11th? And now, we have these children to deal with.
