Bad scenarios are unfolding Example/ this is a hypothetical example but one in which is really happening all over our country... Hi my name is Mat I am an American citizen I have been working at the same factory for 30 years putting in 40 hrs a week with no medical benefits.. The factory I work at has 60 employees.. so now my employer under the Affordable Care Act has to offer me Healthcare or face a $5000 fine per employee that they dont offer Healthcare to ; or to avoid the fine my employer can cut my hours back to under 32 hours so they are no longer obligated to offer me insurance or pay a fine.. Meanwhile my friend Juan (who is a good friend of mine, we grew up together, we vacation together, our kids are friends) Juan is an illegal immigrant .. so the Affordable Care act doesnt apply to him the same way it does me.. Juan can still work 40 hours a week and the factory doesnt have to offer him Healthcare or pay the $5000 fine.. so now all the American citizens at the factory have had their hours cut to under 32 and all the illegals are still working 40 hours a week.. now I am forced to get healthcare which I cannot afford now that my hours have been cut and I have a family to support. Now the factory has no incentive to hire the American citizen in fact its a burden to them ... I could go on .. but why dont you work the rest out in your mind what the implications are... There are good things about the Affordable Care Act but there are very bad things too... Do your research.. get informed and make your own decisions on what is right and what is wrong.. think for yourself.. empower yourself.. dont follow without knowing where you are going or who you are dragging behind you , who may have no choice because you made the wrong one...
