Bad walk today for Ben today :( We had finished a wonderful walk and were headed to our car.... A woman came out of her driveway just across the road with three small dogs on leashes a young girl about 5 or 6 years old and a full grown Scottish Wolfhound OFF LEASH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ben was getting ready to get in the car...wagging his tail and relaxed after a long walk. The wolfhound crossed the road and grabbed Ben across his back...jaws on either side of his spine over his flanks and lifted him a bit off the ground :( Ben yelped and the wolfhound growled and didnt let go :( The woman called her dog. Thankfully the dog released Ben. I screamed at her and told her to put her dog on a leash!!!! A dog that is going to attack other dogs has no business being off lead......she said nothing and turned around with her other three dogs and child...putting the wolfhound in a large kennel in the back of the property. I told her I was going to report her dog...to which she said I know.... As I drove away with Ben I began to shake realizing how dangerous it was for him in those few seconds...the dog was freaking huge and could have hurt Ben terribly. I checked for puncture marks and found none...just a grazed mark where fur was removed. Poor Ben...guess he knows that not all dogs are friendly :( Still steaming mad at the woman who was so careless with her dog...... I was so scared for Ben...thankfully Devy had stayed home to garden with daddy.
