#BadassOfTheDay: The University [of Colorado at Boulder] ordered an inquiry into Churchills research (author of On Justice of Roosting Chickens, an essay which challenges the popular notion that the people who died in the twin towers were innocent civilians, and that the 9/11 attacks were done by evil men, not as a result of aggressive u.s. policy), and then fired him on July 24, 2007, leading to a claim from some scholars that he was fired over the ideas he expressed. Churchill filed a lawsuit against the University of Colorado for unlawful termination of employment. In April 2009, a Denver jury found that Churchill was wrongly fired, awarding him $1.00 in damages. When asked by a member of [an audience in Portland, Oregon] about the officers families (the officers who died during 9/11), Churchill responded, How do you feel about Adolf Eichmanns family? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ward_Churchill_September_11_attacks_essay_controversy I want the state gone... u.s.
