Bagger Operator Kraft - Garland, TX ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties including those not specifically related to the filler operator may be assigned. Under the direction of the supervisor, operates bagging machine. Use and respond to all machine controls and understand various machine modes. Identify locations of all machine sensors and describe their functions and the machines reaction when the sensor is activated or deactivated. Detect when adjustments are required based on machine observations and performance ( for example: torque adjustments), responding to machine faults promptly and correctly for maximum machine up time. Effectively communicate electrical and mechanical problems. Detect supply problems and machine problems and properly respond. Responsible for changing film rolls for bagger. Pasta dumping from totes onto line. Quality Checks including: monitoring weights, magnets as needed and ensure that they are within specifications. Assist in size and product changeovers on the line. This includes mechanical changeovers on each individual piece of equipment. Perform sanitation on all pieces of equipment as needed and assist with the correct documentation. Sanitation duties including duties as assigned by supervisor. Ability to complete analytical testing of product, weight checks and quality checks and deliver to QA and/or Lab. He/she must adhere to all GMP’s and safety policies such as LO/TO and Personal Protective Responsible for compliance with the safety policy and accident prevention and compliance programs. Cross-train on other jobs in the department. He/she must be self-motivated and be able to work in a team environment. Good communication is essential. Responsible for reviewing work areas for potential losses and loss control opportunities and for reporting hazards, injuries/illnesses, and other losses to supervisors. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
