Bailey was found tied up and was brought to the Manhattan shelter. The people who brought her in said she is friendly, playful , lovable and gets along with other animals. Please help get Bailey out before tomorrow and it is to late. Share and advocate for Bailey to help find her foster or adopter... A volunteer writes: Its hard not to be impressed with Bailey, her admirable manners and fine coat indicating a dream date. Shes absolutely terrific on leash, striding at a nice pace while showing a healthy curiosity for her new surroundings. Because of the recent injury to her neck, we stay in the backyard where Bailey continues to demonstrate what a love she is! Being close to her person seems natural to her as she jumps up lightly on the bench, and stays next to me as other people and dogs pass by her playpen. Meeting other dogs seems quite familiar for her; she greets them graciously with gentle flourishes of her tail. Given her well-mannered ways, its no surprise when she responds nicely to several commands, including sit and shake paw; she also takes treats gently from my hand, showing a strong preference for the freeze-dried chicken!
