Balancing Our Development! It can sometimes be hard to understand why others are not seeing the same revelations of wealth or Gods desire for us to prosper beyond our normal living. Don’t allow others to deflate your hope or faith because they are not excited about your revelations or truth about prosperity. We walk in the unity of the body but independently with God. Allow me to elaborate on this point for a moment. God chooses to reveal truths based upon peoples desire and interest. One person may have an interest in evangelism or missions yet another may be interested in wealth. Remember that there are kings and priest. Kings are usually drawn to conquering the market places of life while the priest lean more to that of a service mindedness. You will even find that the more mature who have served in both areas will have a balance of interest that enables these areas to benefit each other. When you and I stand before God He will ask us what we did personally with the truth that was revealed to us. Allow me to state here that I am not referring to opposition toward your pastor or overseer. The pastor is well aware of what the congregational needs and desires are. He is also equally as aware of Gods direction and plan. Growing in wealth and prosperity many times requires a balance of spiritual information that the pastor offers through the preached word. So, don’t get discouraged if He does not seem as interested in prosperity as he does fruit. We are all capable of learning in more than one area at a time. This is seen in our school systems and is developed within us through that type of training from child hood. God has always blessed harmony and unity. We must learn to follow individually what the side interest of our spiritual life and callings are to have less division. Psa 1:1 ¶ Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Psa 1:2 But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Psa 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Get firmly planted in what your pastor is teaching and developing as your main priority and then add in the teachings of prosperity to the truths he is instilling. You will find that Gods word and truths will always have a harmony of flowing together for results. You will also find that when the pastor does preach on wealth, increase or prosperity that you receive much easier from his teaching through your submission toward him. This will also result in greater ability to walk in the anointing and revelation of wealth when he teaches. Three key statements: 1. } We walk in the unity of the body but independently with God. 2. } He will ask us what we did personally with the truth that was revealed to us. 3. } God has always blessed harmony and unity.
