Band of the Day! Pick Axe Preacher! From Detroit, MI!! Mike Williams(Kill Whitey, The Bearded Bastards), Jeff Vergiels (Meat Beastly, Uncle Slippy Fist) Michael Hopper(Hopper Trio, Bat on Fire) Came together in October of 2013 and started forming the sound known as Pick Axe Preacher. We recorded our EP in February of 2014 with a release date of May 3rd 2014. We filmed our music video March 23rd(RIP Dave Brockie) for our single Angels in the Ground with Campfire Pictures with a release date this spring. Our long time friend Stu Stevens(Give Way to Malice, Uncle Slippy Fist) joined the band in April to fill the bassist position. We are currently booking all over the Northeast USA all summer long.
