Bang Bang! is a 2014 Hindi action romantic musical film directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Fox Star Studios.[9] The film is an official remake of the Hollywood film Knight and Day and features Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles performed by Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz respectively in the original.[10] The film was distributed and marketed by Fox Star Studios in collaboration with Fox International Productions worldwide,[11] and despite opening to mixed critical reviews, it grossed 27.54 crore (US $4.5 million) on its first day,[12][13] becoming the 5th highest opening Bollywood film in India after Dhoom 3, Chennai Express, Ek Tha Tiger and Singham Returns.[14] The film released on October 2, 2014 in about 5100 screens worldwide, the biggest release for an Indian film.[15] Plot The film opens in London where army officer Viren Nanda (Jimmy Shergill) goes to meet wanted terrorist Omar Zafar (Danny Denzongpa) in his holding cell. As Viren informs Zaffar that he will be extradited back to India for his crimes, Zafars men enter his holding cell, lead by Hamid Gul ( Jaaved Jaffrey), murdering all guards around them, with Zaffar then murdering Viren by burning him. As Zaffar escapes in a helicopter waiting on the roof, he puts an $5 million reward for someone to steal the Koh-i-Noor diamond from the Tower of London, but with one condition- The thief must be Indian. Soon after, a man named Rajveer ( Hrithik Roshan) steals it becoming an international thief, when Zaffars men are informed of the theft of the diamond, they travel to Rajveer for the deal. Although they initially travel with the $5 million, Rajveer informs them that he now wants $20 million for the deal. Following the disdain of the comment made by Rajveer, a fight outbreaks between Rajveer and Zaffars men. After Rajveer escaped, a CCTV footage of him is captured showing that he is in Shimla, with the government officials now identifying the Koh-i- Noor thief. Harleen Sahani ( Katrina Kaif), after watching an advertisement regarding internet date on TV, started searching on web and found a request from a person named Vickie, she confirms it. Following Rajveers escape, he sees Harleen sitting in a restaurant, who is there waiting for her internet date to show up. Rajveer enters the restaurant posing as Vickie, Harleens intended date for the evening and woos her over, (Tu Meri). Rajveer saw some remaining men and knowingly spills some juice on Harleens dress advising her to go to bathroom to clean it, but as she uses the bathroom, Rajveer fights with the remaining men and kills them but leaves the restaurant, much to the dismay of Harleen who is ordered to pay all the damages made by him in the restaurant. As she drives home, Harleen accidentally runs over Rajveer, who asks her to stitch up a gunshot wound sustained during the fight. Rajveer then gives Harleen drugged water, with her complying with what he says about the government officials, informing her about where to find guns underneath car seats and what they will say about him. The next day, the government officials with Zorawar ( Pawan Malhotra) got hold of Harleen, telling her that they will take her to a safe place, something that Rajveer said they will say before they kill her. Harleen then finds a gun, threatens the officials before escaping with Rajveer. During the pursuit, they both escape, Harleen starts shouting at Rajveer for shooting her boss on his right leg and stealing his car. Rajveer then gets angry and tells her to go home and gives the stolen car keys to Harleen and steals a new car, but Harleen doesnt find any other way rather than sitting with Rajveers new stolen car. they both travel to get something to eat. There Rajveer asks Harleen if she has any money. To which she says she doesnt. They get into a fight and Rajveer mocks Harleen about being lonely and she slaps him. Rajveer shows her the Koh-i-Noor and they realize that they were followed by Zorawar who says he has the restaurant surrounded with his officials and will not be afraid to shoot him if needed to. As the officials convince Harleen to go with them, and she agrees, Rajveer acts to shoot her and jumped out of a window then they both escape. Then Harleen becomes senseless, after waking up, she asks Rajveer to reveal his identity then sleeps, then they both reached a beach resort which was revealed to be Rajveers one of the safety place of him out of 12. Harleen scolds Rajveer for taking her to an unknown place and also taking her clothes out, she takes Rajveers phone to call her grandmother but it allows the officials to track their position. The officials found them and tried to shoot them both. They escaped, but Rajveer killed every officials capturing one man of Zaffar, he asks the man to tell where is Zaffar but the man refused, subsequently an official accidentally shoots that man and he dies, Rajveer kills that official. The next morning Harleen waked up and found herself in Prague, she becomes happy and tells Rajveer that she now trusts him. While roaming around the city, Harleen seems to be falling in love with Rajveer (Merhbaan). Rajveer found a friend of Zaffar entering a casino, he then planed to join the casino at night but Harleen asks him to take her, he agreed. They share there first kiss. Then Rajveer and Harleen win the casino game and Rajveer tells her to start a false quarrel between Him and her, which leads to the meeting of Harleen and Gul. Following this, Rajveer enters the house of Gul and also asked to tell where Zaffar is, Gul refused but started fighting with him, Rajveer kills Gul. But at that time Harleen was got caught by Zorawar and was moved to Indian embassy, Zorawar then revealed that Rajveer actually came to Prague to find Gul, he says that she had killed him and also said that she had also became an international criminal like him, but he gave the condition that they will leave her if she gets the diamond back from Rajveer and hand over to them. Then Harleen meet Rajveer in a bridge and said that she had broke trust on him and asks to give the diamond to her, then the officials surrounded them, Rajveer gave the Koh-i-Noor to Harleen and jumps from the bridge. Harleen returns home but remembered what Rajveer said about his dream, soon she drove to his house, she was misunderstood as a thief by Rajveers father ( Kanwaljit Singh) but his mother (Deepti Naval) confronts him and welcomed her into his house she then reveals that Rajveer and Viren were brothers and his mother said that he had lost contact with both of them since long time. Harleen then got trapped in Zaffars castle because he found the diamond to be fake and was asked to reveal the plan of Rajveer giving him an injection which acts as an truth- revealing agent. But Harleen didnt say anything properly, Rajveer got into Zaffars castle and killed every men guarding there, he then placed time-bombs in every corner of the castle, he then entered Zaffars room, then a fighting broke out with Zaffars men with him, at that time while Zaffar tried to murder him, Rajveer then said Zaffar that the Koh-i-Noor has not been stolen but he did a plan to find him because he had killed his brother, following this, the time-bomb blasts and destroyed the castle. However Zaffar and Zorawar escapes and trapped Harleen with him in a SUV, Rajveer follows them with a F1 racing car, during the pursuit, Zaffar stopped him and ordered his men to beat him, then Zaffar entered into a flight with Harleen, Rajveer kills those men and followed the flight. While following he kills Zorawar and also shoots the flights blades making it crash, he then enters it at that time Harleen kills all the men inside that flight and subsequently the flight bursts into flame. There Rajveer starts fighting with Zaffar and kills him in that flame and gets Harleen escape with him. Then they both got into Rajveers house where Rajveer meet their parents. The film ends with the title song.
