Bangladesh arrests 7,000 opposition activists! 7000! That sounds so surreal but it very much is reality. Im reading reports saying students have been arrested and now feared to have dissapeared whilst in police custody! People dont just dissapear! -Violent military raids on towns believed to have opposition activists by govt forces, including destructive vandalism, arson and arrest of men and women from their homes who have since disappeared. -Arrests, abductions, forced disappearance & extrajudicial murders are on the rise. Several opposition leaders and activists have been arrested on trumped charges. Those not arrested are in hiding due to threat of arrest. Countless have been killed under suspicious circumstances. -Messaging services, particularly Whatsapp, Viber, Tango and several internet based messaging services, have been blocked by authorities citing security. So much evil and coruptness coming from this government leaving a whole nation in turmoil. Please keep Bangladesh and its people in your duaa and also like Progress Bangladesh for updates.
