Banneya Banda, Khulleya Khuda - Bulle Shah by Baba Iqbal Singh ji Baru Sahib Bulle Shah started saying that Khuda is under my shoes. When he came after reading the Namaaz, He was caught and was beaten up. While beating him up he was taken to the Qaazi who asked him Buleya what is wrong with you? Bulla Shah replied confidently that if God prevails everywhere then why not in my Shoes? Qaazi was convinced with his high thinking and his reply of God prevailing everywhere.The other Muslims were agitated with Qaazi’s decision of not punishing such a man. One Day, Bulla Shah was caught hold in the forest and was tied and beaten up. They asked him “Who are you?” while he was tied upon He answered “I am Bulla” They untied him. Again they asked him “Who are you “? He answered “Khuda” Again tied him and asked the same question. He answered “Banda” After 5- 6 trials they urged him to explain what he actually meant. Bulla Shah replied,” Banneya Banda, Khuleya Khuda”. Tied to vices you are a man and freed from vices you are God. The one who is attached to the worldly weaknesses and evils of Kaam, Krodh, Lobh, Mooh, Ahankar is a man and the one who overcomes them becomes close to God. Share and inspire...
