Barclays Here to make you NOT Prosper Dear Editor, Kindly hide my e-mail I.D...I write to complain about the services being rendered by Barclays Bank Zambia which claims its the Bank that is there to make its clients prosper(according to their latest advertisement campaign. Firstly their customer service at their branches and corporate service center leaves much to be desired. once you walk into their branches, be lest assured that you will not spend less than an hour in the bank no matter the transaction(Big or small, Withdraw or Deposit). The attitude of their staff is nothing to write home about. They behave as if they are being forced to do their work and yet they are the ones that applied for those jobs in the first place. Secondly, their so called internet technology they so much brag about is just a nuisance. Just try to do an electronic transfer from Barclays to another bank using RTGS(Real Time Gross Settlement) and you will be shocked at how long it will take for the transfer to reflect on the other side. Youll have to be constantly chasing them at every point of the transaction in order for it to be credited on time, as if the transaction isnt suppose to be Real Time as the name suggests. I just hope someone with authority in Barclays will see this and attend to it promptly as any complaints Ive submitted have yielded no results. Disgusted Barclays Client.
