Barka da sala to you all. Remember that as we celebrate our Eid, Lagos state doctors are presently facing one of the worst act of open victimization from the lagos state government. Haven worked for the last 35 days the government has refused to pay doctors September salaries. We have also been the target of victimization after strikes. Since May 2012 the lagos state government has continued to punish doctors for embarking on strikes while all other unions, including the union of other health workers are not only pampered during strikes but they are paid in full after resuming to work. It is not only injustice that the lagos state government continues to segregate the doctors for punishment but indeed a wicked act to have denied us salaries this period of eid celebration and eve of school resumption. Let it be told that the lagos state government has not only punished doctors but continued to put us in financial embarrassment in meeting up our familial obligations. But as it has been said that irrespective of what condition you find yourself you must thank Allah for witnessing Eid celebration. We remain unperturbed and the joy of seeing our comrades standing firm is enough for us to celebrate this eid with joy. Barka sala.
