Barry and I would like to thank everyone for all the prayers on our behalf over the past 24 hours . He was hit by a car after he left church services yesterday morning. He was airlifted as a precaution due to his head injuries, facial trauma and losing consciousness several times . Fannin county ems , bystanders, & fellow church members did a wonderful job getting him up the embankment and packaged for transport . We appreciate each one of you . Its true your life can be changed in a split second . The the power of prayer was evident as his CT scan was negative for skull fractures and brain bleeding and his jaw was not fractured. He has several stitches ,abrasions, hematomas and lots of swelling .The two fractured vertebrae in his back will heal with time. A truck can be replaced and weeds and grass can wait. GOD performed a miracle and we are so thankful to have Barry home with us to recover. We are thankful the occupants in the other car injuries were not life threatening . We appreciate the calls , texts, visits from friends . The power of prayer works and we appreciate every prayer offered on our behalf . GOD is good all the time .
