Battle Boar Soldiers! The following is a heads up due to a recently escalating problem throughout the Army concerning a certain viral challenge being done while in uniform. Per JAG: BLUF: Soldiers are prohibited from fundraising for, endorsing or creating the appearance of endorsement of non-federal entities. Soldiers have been participating in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in their official capacity and in duty uniform. This type of activity is prohibited by the Joint Ethics Regulation. For any questions regarding interactions with non-federal entities which may raise the issue of official endorsement or any other ethics issues, contact your Brigade Judge Advocate Representative.
