Bay Area Writing Friends: Were hosting a 4-hour write-in near UC Berkeley tomorrow (Sunday, November 17) as part of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Not all of the writers coming are involved in NaNoWriMo, so feel free to join us if youre not. This wont be a social activity or primarily a workshop - just writing quietly. The point is to lend social support to focused writing time. But every hour on the hour, Ill introduce newcomers and offer an opportunity to partner up to workshop our pieces together in a separate room. Street parking is easy on Sunday (and free), but youll need to move your car after 2 hours. Restaurants and a park are within a 5 min walk (great for breaks or a meal before/after). Message me before noon on Sunday if youd like to participate. Ill be busy preparing after that and focused on writing after 4 pm.
