Be Sober Minded..............Be Sincere You pray to God to take away your hurt, your pain, your faults, your hate, your unforgiveness and so on, and He has heard your plea, the thing is, you will not let it go yourself. God is faithful in when He says to call upon Him in times of trouble, and He will hear you. He has, and He has given you every thing in His Power to see that what you have asked of Him is answered, but you keep running back to the same places you used to go. You keep lying and speaking lies, even deceit. You keep going back to those abusive situations He has taken you out of because He loved you, but you think to yourself, maybe one more time, maybe one more chance. You go to drug rehabs to help you overcome, but somehow, self keeps wanting what self wants and you fall off the wagon again and again.........God says you have to start being sincere in what you are asking.........dont just ask because you are caught, dont just ask because you want away for a little while, you want a little break, dont just ask because you think you can gain something for yourself from it, but ask with a sincere heart that you want to change and let go ...........God says be sober minded. Dont keep going back to what and where you once were, but go find His way for you. Forget those old friends that lead you, that beg you not to leave, but put God in place of them and He will lead you to the place that is higher than above all dreams. You can overcome!! God has made a way of escape for you. Dont keep dwelling on the past and the fun that sin has offered, for sin does not tell the whole story. Open the door of escape, the door that God has provided for you, and you will soar away from all those things that would bind you.
