Be careful that when you throw the rod of criticism to others and their mistakes. No one is excused for ungodly conduct or even as simple as missing the mark in something simple or perhaps complex (depending on who looks at it). Always call an ace an ace and a spade a spade...but never think you are The King whose name is Perfect. The truth should always be mounted and hammered into the very fabric of all mankind. Nevertheless, dont let your snorty attitude and judgmental spirit cause your rod of criticism to come back swinging like a boomerang to hit you back in double measure. The truth should always be told, but with that: justice, mercy, love, and righteousness are its pillars that holds it up and differentiates it from the lies. What goes around comes around. In life there are some universal laws that wont change. If you jump ignorantly off of a cliff: you will surely fall. If you jump into the fire haphazardly:you will be burnt! On the flip side, although man may write things off or maybe even cancel you out of their existence ( even when they have every right to logically do so), there is a very merciful Savior which is Jesus Christ. When mother, father, sister, brother, aunty, uncle, cousins,friends, and even leaders...there is still one hand left reaching out to you. Will you grab it, or will you reject it? Whose hand is this? Your automatic negative connotation is to give out that which has been given to you. What is it? It is rejection! Because of this, your instinct is to react with everyone else this way. You become the very wounded victim. Maybe youve felt like The Good Samaritan who was neglected by the most assumed persons to help and show compassion of some sort. Dont forget this hand is still reaching out to you. In case you dont know who Im talking about, its the nailed pierced hand of The Lord Jesus Christ. He says, Come home, come home to me. I see your weariness, I see your hurt...I see your confusion, struggles, weaknesses, and sins. I see your bitterness that you wont so eagerly let go. You have made life the dagger of your soul that pierces you directly in your heart...and then causes you to lose hope because youve bled it out...and now its hopelessness. I can change that...just give it all to me. I will make you a sign and wonder. In this I will be glorified because they know this was not you, but it was the work of the living God. Do you know there isnt anything too hard for me? I was there before hard came...and will remain after hard is gone. Let go of the past, repent of your sins, receive me...receive my grace and mercy. Go and sin no more. Where are your accusers? You cant answer that, because they too have been struck by their own rod. People have struck many with the rod of affliction, thinking they are doing my kingdom justice and duty. but it is not so. Many have been marred, because the fullness of my kingdom hasnt been shared to them. Although I do give judgment and total justice...I also give grace and mercy. Not cheap greasy grace, but grace that will empower you to live in my righteousness...and to live holy as I am holy. Ive bought you with a price, so you are not your own. You have been marked forever. Dont walk out on me now,, I am the sweetest lover of your soul. Those who claimed to love you, but harmed you; needs to know the love of me before truly loving you or anyone else. Nails are designed to be hammered into something other than a human, but mankind has done this physically and spiritually to one another. Theyve nailed you to the cross of your past, hoping that you never come off. It has been purposed for you to be on open display in shame, agony, guilt, regret, sorrow, hopelessness, and certainly disappointment. In some cases youve deserved it, while in others you dont...because Ive seen your repentant heart. But wait! Over 2,000 years ago on the cross, they did the same to me! The only difference was: I was never guilty...I was innocent...but went silent like a sheep to the slaughter...without one plea. Men say to you that you are done; you are indeed finish. On the cross I said It is finished! You are not over until I say it is over. Ive finished and paid the price for everything you need. I became sin for you that moment so that you will have the faith and victory through me. I say to you this day, Arise! Get up from the ashes. Stand up! Dust yourself off from the ash heap of yesterdays hurts, failures and worries! Arise mighty one...for my grace is sufficient for you. I make all things new. Arise...Arise...Arise...I have need of thee. Its time to walk into a season, a new dimension, and new era of your life. For the time has come where you let bygones be bygones. For the past has become like spiritual baggage that holds you down from going to the airport of destiny and arriving at the destination called fulfilled purpose. May this year be from this to the next in a good way and not in a toxic one. Life can always be sweeter, and its always what you make it. Follow The Way, The Truth, and the Life...and everything will be just alright. Trouble and difficult times will come, but they will also go. Live the life you love because you only live once.
