Be encouraged my brothers and sisters. We all may have suffered some form of abuse, it may have been recent or a long time ago. God is a refuge for all mistreatment. God is faithful to heal His children from ALL hurts, pains or wounds. Remember this, God will never tell you to take a course of ACTION is contrary to His Word. Forgive and pray for the abuser is according to His Word. This course of action will accelerate the healing process. God’s tender GRACE heals the wounds of abuse. Only He can replace RESENTMENT with compassion, ERASE the pain from bitter memories, and give the abused a RENEWED sense of their WORTH as His treasured children. From our hiding place in His love, we can thrive, move forward right now, even in a world filled with evil, and a difficult environment to do the RIGHT thing. Matthew 5:43-48 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
