Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. (Romans 12:16 NKJV) One of the most important facets of love is unselfishness, which is characterized in Romans 12:16 as the willingness to adapt and adjust to the needs and desires of others. People who have grasped the meaning of this Scripture and applied it in their lives have learned what it means to be reduced to love. They are not selfish. They have learned to be adaptable and to adjust to others. On the other hand, people who think more highly of themselves than they should find it difficult to adjust to others. Their inflated opinion of themselves causes them to see others as little and unimportant. They selfishly expect others to adjust to them, but they are often unable to accommodate others without becoming angry or upset. Which type of person are you? I used to be so selfish, but now, I can tell you from experience that living unselfishly is a much more satisfying way to live. The trademark of a true Christian is the ability to adapt to others. Will you unselfishly adapt to someone else today? ===== And it all starts with having a personal relationship with Jesus. He is the key to achieving all that God wants you to be. The bible says He is the only way. To receive Him n be born again is very simple; just say this prayer now; Lord Jesus, thank you for coming to die for my sins. I accept you as my Lord and personal savior. Cleanse me of all my sins and make me a new creature. From this day forth, I will live for you and for you alone. In Jesus name, Amen! If you said those prayers sincerely, u are now born again. The bible says you are a New Creature n you can do ALL things through Christ.
