Be the right person I have a client who is interested in a short sale. MLS shows the listing to be active. Over the last two days, I - called the listings cellphone three times, and left voice message each time - called listings office once - texted the listing agent - emailed the listing agent twice - emailed listing agents office once up to now, there is no any response. Although this is not the exception in this business, I still got a little upset and puzzling. There are many agents who wont respond to you if they think it is not very useful to them or to this current transaction. No wonder realtors as a whole does not have too good a reputation. I seriously think this is not professional. When you post a property into MLS, you are obligated to respond to inquiries. This is the very basic service realtors provide to the public. If the property is not available anymore, why not simply reply saying it is not available. This kind of realtors automatically get on my blacklist. They deserve to be out of business.
