Be ware my friends, not all companies are ethical with integrity. Stayfree is one of them. It used to be the pads were sprayed with gardnerella vaginalis to bring business to the Flagyl antibiotics and the doctors. This was only Stay Fee maxipads. We had trouble with as far as female products. We were told not to tell patients it was from their pads they got the nonspecific vaginitis but that Some were allergic to Stay Free and lowered them to be subject to it. Under a microscope the saline from the SF pads was teaming with the bacteria. Other sterile supplies like Johnson and Johnson were not so sterile and sprayed. Some companies own stocks in antibiotic companies and its big business.
