Beagle Welfare’s Beagle of the month for September is... CHESTER! Chester is a young hound who has already had several homes in his short life. Sadly no interest has been shown in him since he arrived at Beagle Welfare in June. He is an attentive boy who listens and is trainable and is a huge bouncy character who would love an active human or two to call his own. Could you be who Chester has been waiting for? Chester is 2 years old, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He has been DNA tested and is 1/4 beagle, 1/4 harrier, 1/4 otter hound and 1/4 mix. He would suit an active household with an experienced dog owner who could channel his energy into training or agility. He is good with other dogs and older children. He is house trained, a good traveller and excellent on and off the lead. He will need a garden with high fences. He is currently in the care of the Beagle Welfare rehoming centre in Burton –Upon– Trent.
