Bear and I just got home! It was a long, long day for both of us, but Bear was trooper! He is resting now, and Ill probably be ready for bed soon myself. The vets said that if he gets sick it will be 3 to 5 days after the treatment. Not all dogs get sick, and I hope for once the odds are with him and not against. His bandage is off and the stitches will come out when he goes in Friday for his white blood cell count. Treatments will be every 3 weeks if he can tolerate it. Just since getting the bandage off today he is moving better! Ill try to get a video tomorrow, because he is definitely becoming an awesome Tripawd! We had a number people at the hospital and in the rest areas tell us what a special dog he was. Love and hugs to all of you who are keeping up with him. We are very grateful for the support.
