Beautiful Weather Later Today MORNING FOG: The fog over Alabama has been very thick this morning; many locations have reported visibility under one-half mile. In some spots, the visibility has been near zero. The good news is that it wont last - sunshine returns by afternoon and we warm into the upper 70s to lower 80s later today. Thursday will be a little warmer, perhaps into the middle 80s, and Fridays high will be in the low to mid 80s. If you have been planning to work around the yard or the flower beds, the next few days should be just about perfect. LATE WEEK RAIN? A weakening frontal system will arrive in the area around Friday. there could be a few spotty showers in the area by Friday evening, and perhaps a leftover shower or two Saturday, but really, the chance of rain with this frontal system will not be very impressive. We will keep the chance of rain very low, generally 20% or less. Meanwhile, highs will soar into the low to mid 80s Friday through Sunday. WEATHER RADIO PROGRAMMING: We are hitting the road again this week to program weather radios. Thursday, we will be at the Walgreens in Greenville, on the Greenville Bypass, from 10:30 to 2:30. Eric Snitil and others from our WSFA staff will be there to program your radios to alert you for your county when severe weather approaches. If you dont have a weather radio, you can buy one at a discount price, and we will program it. And, its a great chance to get a peak at our new Stormtracker 12 vehicle! We will see you in Greenville! -Josh Johnson, Doppler 12 StormVision Meteorologist Facebook: Josh Johnson WSFA Twitter: @JoshWeather Opp, Alabama, United States Todays Forecast: Wednesday, 23 Apr 2014 80°F 56°F Sky Conditions: Sunny Sunrise: 6:07 AM Sunset: 7:21 PM Wind: E (90°) @ 4Mph Precipitation Probability: 0% View your complete Local Weather » Sunny
