An upper level trough will push into southwestern Queensland on Sunday and then stall in the region. The upper trough, along with an associated surface trough, should start to move eastwards across the southern districts from Tuesday. Forecast for the rest of Saturday - Fine and clear over most of the state. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh at times near the coast. Sunday 13 July - Fine, sunny and dry across most of the state except for some patchy light rain developing over the Channel Country and some isolated light showers about the North Tropical Coast. Widespread morning frost over the central interior, southern interior and southeast districts. Monday 14 July - The high should move eastwards across Victoria, and will push some isolated showers onto Queenslands east coast. The upper level trough should extend some patchy light rain over the states interior. Areas of morning frost over the southern and southeast interior. Tuesday 15 July - The high should weaken as it moves into the Tasman Sea, but will nonetheless still push showers onto the east coast and into parts of the eastern interior. Patchy areas of mainly light rain and the chance of some thunderstorms over the southern interior associated with the upper and surface troughs. Fine and dry elsewhere.
