Been There, Done That! The problem is that Call Center Reps are LIMITED in what they can or cannot do. Not too mention ALL CALL CENTERS have what is called " HANDLE TIME" where you are expected to solve the problem in a certain amount of time and then MOVE on to the next customer. ALL this does is make for the call center REPS being RUDE and Rushing through calls so they do not get in trouble! Having worked in call centers, I have had customers like this one several times. IF call center Reps where allowed to take the time needed no matter HOW LONG IT TAKES, There would be more happy customers in our world!!
