Been a busy day at the studio! William C. Searcy came by and recorded his line Yes! for S02-I Red Sky at Night. Bill Mackenzie came by, picked up the monitor that Dan Thompson has donated, and weve got a plan of attack to deal with the bridge monitors. Dans donation helped get the ball rolling, and the Tactical station mid-panel display will be the first live monitor installed on the bridge. Bill also picked up our entire sound equipment inventory. Were having trouble again with the sound, so Ive asked Bill to go through each piece of equipment (even the lines) and see if he can determine if the problem lies within the TASCAM, the mikes, the lines, or any combination thereof. Mj Johnson has finished his work on the Sickbay (barring a touch up here or there). It looks terrific, and were very glad for his help. Coming up next for Mike is the corridor set. While hes working on the strips for the panels, Ill be arranging the Klingon bridge set into its new, semi-permanent placement. Were also looking to set up a new turbolift background. Instead of a two-dimensional wall panel, itll be semi-circular in shape, At this point, construction is scheduled to begin on the shuttlecraft. We also intend on installing a food processor unit in the corridor (see p. 51 of Mr. Scotts Guide to the Enterprise), a circular sound booth for ADR work, and a few other niceties which will help improve studio operations (overhead lights, perhaps?). More to be done tomorrow!
