Been a rough and wild past few days looking forward to some clear skies and time this weekend at the Wileyville Homecoming. The storms really worked us over and we have a lot of clean up still to do. We have a tree down on the barn and hanging over top of the trailers. Trying to figure out how to get it cut out without damaging the barn more or hitting the trailers. To add to all of the mess we lost one of our dogs during the storm yesterday morning -- we laid our Hairlip Harley to rest. We will miss him and his crazy way of "talking" like a bear. He was a great dog and great friend. I still have quite a bit of swelling this morning from being stung on the mouth while cleaning out the culvert. I am allergic to need and wasps, so being stung near my source of air was pretty scary. After some meds and a power nap I went back to work cleaning up preparing for round 2 last night.
