Been hearing a lot of talk about Grudging versus Shootouts. Here is my thoughts, Like it or Not. Every person that spends his or her hard earned money has the right to run their car or program whereva and however they please. Its theirs and not nobody on the sidelines. I love both but as a Promoter and a Racer its all about making sure the fans got the best show for their $$$. Shootouts didnt kill Grudge Racing, the money in the racers pockets at hard times did. The Shootouts have provided fans the show they came to see and when Grudge Racing happened it was a bonus or vice versa. As long as I got Tony Wright, Tony Bynes. 901, Lil Rick, lethal Weapon, Dog, Matt. and many more or the top name or racers period in the same place I could give a shit if they Grudge each other or not cause either way theyre there racing and racing each other in which the fans want to see. **Bottom line is. If you dont know what it cost to do this stuff then sit back and pay attention and let the racers handle it and do the best they can with their operation. Shootouts and Grudging is Racing and Grudge Racers and Class Racers are RACERS. All the same in my book and opinion. Peace.
