Been hearing alot about break ins, and recently one about where people were broken into while they were even home! Scary thought. I found these at the dollar store, and they work great. Turn them on at night and if the door or window opens, it lets out an alarm. Great way to feel secure. I use them for almost 8 years now, since I walked into a home invasion and was injured badly. I couldnt sleep for the longest time until I got these. They were great for home security, you can also get some bigger ones at the Home Depot with multiple alarms, others where you can get enough for everything, but until you can afford something better, these are a great substitute. I used it also when my daughter was a toddler to stop her from going outside early in the morning, the loud shrieking sound scared her so much, she stopped opening the door. Great toddler stopper!
