Been hearing the commercials for the hawaiian roll and hear about hawaii moving forward to regain sovereignty. Im pretty naive about this situation. My question is this, what will happen to the 90% of hawaii residents who are not hawaiian? What will happen to them and to all the businesses and home owners. And is there a taxing system for people of the soon to be kingdom and who will be the sovereign leader? I just what clarification, and understanding. Im a proud hawaiian but Im confused and not sure if Im Pono with becoming a kingdom again. I dont feel there is a need for it. But I do feel that more native rights should become available. I dont know Im very uneducated about this issue and wod like to be enlightened on any side :)
