Been here with Gizzy since 1. She just lays her head on my hand. Right now they are changing bandages and flushing wounds. She is a fighter. With breathing we have passed the critical 24 hours. She is not on oxygen and temp seems to be ok. She may need plasma as she is losing blood protein but they are working to replenish it. She ate some this morning. They are lowering and taking some meds. They say she is doing amazing. But she does nerd to see a specialist tomorrow for her wounds. I spoke to the doctor and she agreed that if we hadnt brought she would most probably be dead. Neither Mindy Adams nor I have the extra cash as we run our rescue and our lives on a shoestring, so the donations to pay this are truly a Godsend. You dont know how overwhelmed we are the outpouring of shares, donations,and concern for this little bridle shelter survivor.
