Been philosophizing too much lately..sorry, but the rant continues. Remember shoe purchase protocol when mom took you to Kinneys or a dept. store to pick up new shoes? Tried on shoes, if they fit, you boxed them back up and purchased them. If they didnt fit, you boxed them back up and returned them to the salesperson. Well, I learned something new today. Apparently our wonderful *NEW* society asks for 20 pairs of shoes, tries them on and then leaves them all randomly unboxed, (tissue paper, plastic shoe stays, cardboard forms), and scattered across the sales floor when finished. I was absolutely disgusted at this revolution (which is why I avoid malls entirely) and started re-packing shoes for the overworked salespeople. After telling my daughter, Dont be that person!, (meaning the selfish, entitled leaver of random shoes and accompanying crap), hardworking sales guy walked up to me and said, Bless you, maam. I didnt need to ask why and he didnt have explain himself. Please, please, someone tell what has happened to people and manners and humanity and concern for others and respect for peoples professions and..and...and..and?!?! I hate the fact that I hate people. Someone give me a pep talk.
