Been thinking to share this issue for sometime We all know that Twitter / Facebook does not reveal IP addresses / identity or locations of people tweeting threats against people / journalists But it is also a fact that PTA monitors ALL INTERNET Traffic in and out of Pakistan - If they so much as wanted to, they could easily locate each individual and shut them down / BUT THEY DONT (regardless of any cybercrime law - to be honest they totally disregard any law when they themselves want to track something) be it web based tweeting or GPRS mobile based messaging, all IPs can be tracked by PTA Point to ponder .... who is deliberately allowing them to operate these social media accounts - overtly they seem to be geared towards the media to help orchestrate a constant elevated threat / fear threshold amongst the people of Pakistan - but if PTA seriously claims that they cant track them, then it can easily mean these are originating from outside of Pakistan Are we a pied piper nation being lead to destruction .... sorry let me correct ... we are ... we are a nation living at the behest of the next Headline Breaking News ... anchor driven talks show rhetoric .. we as a nation have chosen not to think whats good for us and let others decide our destiny
