Been utilizing some concepts from Paul Carters base building manual between meet cycles. A big fan of the fatigue singles he outlines. They are a great way to build self efficacy and confidence without overly taxing yourself with too high of percentages. Hit 320x8, 340x8 and 370x8 on the bench today (still not pushing too hard yet), and followed it up with a paused fatigue single of 410. Still fast, as it should be since it is light, but definitely slower than it would have been had I just worked up to it...some great ideas in this manual...check it out.
