Been wanting to share this one beautiful memory from about this time of year in the early 40s. While walking to Warner Junior High School,there were not any school buses that I can recall from my youth, I saw a wonderful sight. While approaching the Brandywine on this clear cold day, all the tree branches were ice covered from an earlier mist. The early morning sun glistened off the ice covered branches that stirred in the slight breeze and actually created a pleasant tingling sound. To me it was a magic, almost like a tinkling of music. This was one beautiful experience of my walk to school that day, it is still clear in my memory. I would have missed this sight if there were school buses.
