Beer Tents! Not something we think about a lot, but many of us have been under one a time or two. Yes, I am talking about those big guys youll see at the many festivals around your cities, municipalities, towns, and villages. The almighty Beer Tent. Yours truly repairs those Big Guys and have gotten to know them very well. I am sure you want to know all that you can about the many interesting things in life as much as I so here is what I have learned about Beer Tents in my 26 years of industrial sewing: Many you see are made right here in America. They are so big at times because they are in sections. Circus tents are not much different than a beer tent. The sections are connected with a loop system. Heavy duty grommets, webbing, and brackets keep a beer tent strong. Most material used to make a beer tent is 18oz vinyl. Most thread used to make a beer tent is polyester. Polyester thread lasts about seven years before it starts to break down. The vinyl will last longer than the thread that stitched it together. It is fun drinking beer under a beer tent with friends. You can pee on a beer tent and it wont hurt it. Now you know a little more about beer tents. I hope you feel smarter and perhaps want to drink a brew tonight and think about beer tents......NOT
