Beetoven and the chopping up of a guys leg and turned into a fancy looking dish on prime-time NBC on a Friday night in the Spring of 2014. Oh how times have changed. I hate to sound like some puritanical Christian or something like that (and most of you know how I feel about all that Christian stuff). But I am starting to think that shows like Hannibal and The Following are really bad for the moral fabric of society. Movies are one thing but this is television, which is something else entirely. Its free, for one thing. But for another, television is the greatest propaganda mechanism this world has ever known and it is the mechanism that produces the necessary illusions that keep Americans believing in America and its citizenry from killing each other or lynching their government. And those of you who know me know that I have a pretty dark subject-matter show that is my lifes purpose, but there are too many dumb f***s out there who are just plain too impressionable and easy to influence and manipulate for this to not be a concern. Venom spewed.
