Before I dismiss many of the anti Russia rhetoric, warning us against business with Russia as pro-American, and NATO propaganda, I must say these, excusing the bombing of civilian populations in Serbia, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Ivory Coast and Somalia, while condemning a peaceful referendum in Crimea is worse than hypocritical. Its atrocious. I must also talk about many attacks on Russias borders. First of all, the Tatars, Chechens and Ossetias all have their own autonomous republics with the Russian Federation, with their own governments as Libyan tribes and legislatures: they are called Tatars tan, Chechen Republic and North and South Ossetia respectively. The same goes for another dozen or so of other ethnic minority groups. Not a single one has pushed for independence from Russia, as being part of a powerful and united federation is beneficial for all. Is that not the same principle as the EU, US or the Commonwealth prides themselves, but extended even further in Africa to Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria and South Africa? Russia prides itself on its ethnic and cultural diversity, and the Kremlin does not shy away from this - instead it regularly invites representatives from all autonomous republics to discuss issues And finally, the Kurile islands. The attack on them is ridiculous. Official discussions of them have been going on for years- just this February Putin had met with Japanese leaders to discuss the issue. So before you post and talk nasty stuff like that, you need get your facts straight and be objective.
