Before I say too much, I just want to say I had a wonderful time at the open house. There was so much love and joy, it was thick. You could cut it with a knife. Everyone was so nice. I sorta felt like I was on the outside looking in at times, but it was all on my part Im sure. After all, this was my first time, I was a newbie at the farm. I feel as though I left a bit too soon, as the pictures of later Saturday show a bunch of craziness going on. By the way, I love to climb trees, I was the champ tree climber in my younger days. It looked like a lot of fun. On Friday when Jon took the first crew out for a Red demo, my sister and I heard a pileated and watched it land on a tree. The last picture I snapped as it flew away. I seem to be in a slump, so much is going on, perhaps only in my mind, but all the same, Im stuck. I hope it soon ends. I loved meeting all of you. You are no longer just cyber friends. You are etched in my mind and heart, I will never forget the experience of last weekend. I thank you Jon for opening your farm and to Maria for your hard work in the gallery. Your work is amazing, and your smile is sweet as honey.
