Before I sign off tonight, just a few thoughts. 847 people in 18 countries have been welcomed into our family since October 4th. There were patients, family, friends, caregivers, Doctors, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, RRTs, Infusion Nurses, medical students, and advocates. Here we are tonight with 672 caring, loving people from 16 countries. Not all have our respiratory issues, but all have a loving soul and everyone needs support sometime. When I first made this banner, I was told that COPD does not include all those issues. Did you notice in the 2014 Medscape report what seems to be included now. I was told it would take a lot of money to finance a support group. Well, Ive spent money on 3 ring binders and pin maps and printer ink, a few rehab devices that I use for myself anyway. And a Tabors medical dictionary, Mosbys PDQ for Respiratory Care and a Pill Book you can buy at any pharmacy or book store. What a successful support group really requires is commitment. Any there are so many in our group to thank for helping each other. Thank You ALL!
