Before I start posting info I just want to take a brief second to express to you this is why we live in Polk county!!!! Never will there be another community as good as this to raise my family in especially in a time of need such as Tys........with that said...... The 5k has turned in to FAMILY FUN DAY AND 5K AT BEARCAT STADIUM. I am holding a meeting this next Monday night at 7pm at the Union Bank of Mena meeting room. I encourage all churches and families and people to attend that have asked what they can help with. We need a game plan and the more the merrier. The date has been set as September 13th and we will use the football field track. However the Family events we will possibly have such as bouncy houses will be near the middle school so we dont mess with the football turf. Thanks again for all that have said you wanted to help.....I cant wait to see how this is going to bless the Thackers!!!!
