Before another person shares the Michael Brown was a robbery - TopicsExpress

Before another person shares the Michael Brown was a robbery suspect stuff with me, let me help some of you out: The debate on my page (not CNN, not MSNBC, or wherever else youre looking) is not about whether Michael Brown deserved to be shot. We have not had access to that investigation, so what is there to say about it? I will say that the hypocrisy is funny as hell when on one hand some black folks assume the kid was innocent, or a gentle giant as somebody said, at the same time some white folks jump for joy as soon as the robbery report came out (See! We knew he was bad all along! He deserved to get shot!) Please, dont waste my time with those lame arguments. I dont mean to be a dick, but you need to resolve the contradictions in your arguments before you spew them. So if not about the shooting, what has the debate been about? It has always been about the police response to the protests. I didnt even care about this case until after the rioting started. Since then I have done almost nothing but follow the news reports, both online and on tv. We all know that nobody can relate to anybody elses plight, so let me put it to you like this: The people had a right to protest. When the police showed up with overwhelming force to intimidate them, the people fought back. Some assholes looted, but the funny thing about a mob is its a mob, not an organization. There is no control, no qualification test, no screening process. Assholes make it in. Does any of this sound familiar? Lets do a real short rewind to a place in Nevada called the Bundy Ranch. Remember when the rancher, Cliven Bundy, was getting his cattle seized and the BLM responded with overwhelming force, deploying snipers and rangers, one of whom pushed around a pregnant lady? What happened? A bunch of white folks showed up with guns to face down the cops. Boy, how the anti-government crowd cheered! Glenn Beck had like a man crush on Cliven Bundy. As it turns out, Bundy had been running his cattle on BLM land illegally for years and refused to pay the minimal fee. He was a thief and a crook, but all those white folks with guns showed up and rioted and threw down on the cops and it was just fantastic. But when black folks do it, they are out of line. All you people who post pro liberty, pro Second Amendment, anti-Obama stuff all day every day and share memes with eagles and flags talking about come and take it and swearing to resist government oppression, tell me, how can you sit there and criticize people for doing the same thing you talk about doing all the time?
