Before any of you folks start yammering about todays news with regard to Obamas statement about regulating the Internet as a utility rather than a retail service, PLEASE do the homework and read up on whats being discussed. In my opinion, Obamas plan is probably a very positive move and will result in a much more consumer-friendly environment for Internet users. I say this because in about 12 hours, youre going to start seeing chain emails, Facebook statuses, and Internet comments talking about how Obama is trying to take over the Internet/destroy capitalism/etc. It just aint true. What Obamas plan will do is keep the the Internet like it is NOW. You likely WONT see much of a change.
